"If you're part of a family you will love this place" for the "beautiful pool" and amenities, including an "awesome" kiddie basin, a Jacuzzi and cabanas, plus the location "blocks from the main street in Palm Springs"; "lovely from the exterior", it also sports "upgraded" rooms with mountain views, but those stuck in lesser quarters with "parking lot" vistas say the "mediocre" rooms have "gone to seed" (beds are like "cardboard"), and further complain that the "resort fee is highway robbery."

Beautiful, newly remodelled , large room.
H.d to pay extra for everything, including local calls and parking. ($10 per night or $18 for valet). We found that we could park on the street behind

Great value through Priceline. Beautiful hotel, but pool being remodelled and not useable. Parking expensive, but you can park on the street behind.

Attractive exterior, staff was great, very nice room.
The internet use was expensive.

I felt good the moment I saw it. It was more than a hotel; it felt like home. I'm very conscious of where I stay. This hotel surpassed my expectations!

Great staff.
False fire alarms, broken elevators, and pool under construction.

If you enjoy getting stuck in an elevator with an emergency alarm that didn't work, false fire alarms in public spaces, and a pool area still under construction this is a hotel for you. Staff was amazing! Lobby outstanding, workout space excellent! ...read more

It was comfortable and convenient.
The hotel has obviously only recently opened.

This will be an attractive, superior-quality, though not deluxe, hotel to stay at when visiting Palm Springs. The hotel has just opened up. The staff was friendly but lacking in experience.

It was very nicely decorated.
Adjoining doors allowed smoke from next door to go in my room.

I called downstairs to complain that smoke was coming in my room. It was very late so I did not feel like moving rooms. The staff said they would send security and never did, they called. I then had to smell the cologne that the guy sprayed to mask the smell. Next morning, staff were rude and unresponsive, saying they would tell the GM. It was not fair to me. I will not stay at that hotel again. ...read more

Dramatic entry/foyer; helpful doorman, free WSJ.
It sometime charges for parking.

Great location in downtown Palm Springs, and close to the airport. You can walk to shops and breakfast. Lovely modern decor with comfortable rooms that include a chair for readers.

Fabulous new design/style. Great staff.

Recently remodeled with amazing style. Just about complete as of 1/1/2010. Not sure what the new pricing will be but the design was amazing.
